How hot should my towel dryer get?
When it comes to electric towel dryers, achieving the right temperature is crucial for both functionality and comfort. Here's what you need to know:
Prescribed Thermostat Setting: Electric towel dryers are designed with a built-in thermostat that maintains the fluid temperature at approximately 130 degrees F (54 degrees C).
Heat Distribution: Heating begins at the element and gradually moves upwards, extending across the top rail, and then descending on the opposite side.
Heat Progression: The top section of the towel dryer will attain full heat initially, and the warmth will then propagate downwards.
Rail Heating Variation: Not all rails will reach the same level of heat. The lowest rail usually remains unheated. For models with closely spaced rails, the lowest few rails may not reach full temperature.
Manual Heat Test: To assess the heat output manually, grasp the top rail with your palm after the unit has operated for around 40 minutes. The heat should be substantial enough that you can't firmly grip the rail for more than a few seconds.
Important Warning: Please exercise caution during the manual heat test. Holding the towel rail for more than a few seconds could result in burns. Artos shall not be held responsible for any burns or injuries resulting from mishandling during this test.
Maintaining the optimal temperature in your towel dryer ensures efficient performance and a cozy experience. By comprehending these heat dynamics, you can maximize the benefits of your electric towel dryer.
